Customer Objective: The family in this Devizes home needed a double garage, and decided to add an upstairs annex to make the most out of the views across the valley, enjoying their astronomy hobby.
Description: An unusual build – a new double garage in Devizes, topped with an observatory.
The Job – January 2016: We completed this job from the ground up for a family with stars in their eyes! It was an exciting and unique project to work on, with our team laying the foundations, brickwork, and installing full electrics and plumbing, finishing off with plastering and the all-important glazing. The versatile upper storey annex was designed to allow for stargazing from the balcony so the children could practice their astronomical skills. The space can easily be re-purposed to use as a guest suite or home office.
