You’ll meet me (Kevin) straight away if you contact KL & Sons Building Services to enquire about us doing some work for you. I and my wife Leanne are the owners of the business (that’s where the “KL” comes from), very ably supported by our sons Luke and Rikky, and more latterly our daughter Kaylee, who works hard in the office helping Leanne with the admin.
We certainly are truly a family business, and we try to treat our clients as though they are family friends. We’re committed to doing our best for you and fortunately it seems we’re succeeding, because our building business in Devizes is flourishing and we are flooded with positive testimonials from happy customers.
We started offering general building services in the Devizes area back in 2003 after taking a break from our native Wiltshire and living in New Zealand for several years.
When we came home, I initially worked for a local construction company while taking on some private clients to fill the weekends and evenings, aiming to build up enough support to branch out full time on my own.
It took a couple of years until I was in a position to set up my own company, buy a van (until then I’d had to use the family car and a small wooden trailer to transport materials and tools), and employ some staff members.
Leanne was involved from the start, looking after the accounts and admin for our business, and even when our children were still youngsters, they eagerly assisted with things like delivering advertising flyers and working with us after school.
Gradually our hard work paid off and we’re proud to say we now have a reputation for delivering excellent workmanship and unrivalled customer service, so we never have a problem filling the job diary.
Our under 9 bulldogs play in the Mid-Wilts league and are a newly established team formed during the summer 2019 with a mixture of boys and girls.

We take on all sorts of building projects, are extremely experienced with kitchen and bathroom design and installation, and also provide a fully comprehensive plumbing and heating service. We service a wide area across west Wiltshire and Somerset where we’re recognised for our honesty, reliability and fair pricing.
As the business has grown and thrived, we now have the added advantage of being able to offer our customers the benefit of having all the required trades on board to offer a full package. Bricklayers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, painters, cleaners, ground workers – you name them, we’ve got them, so there’s no delay waiting for sub-contractors to turn up.
