Creating and fitting a new open-plan kitchen in a Wiltshire country cottage.

The Brief
The client in the village of All Cannings wanted to update a tired kitchen and open it up to flow into a dining space.

The Job – August 2019
We started by stripping back the old galley-style kitchen, then widened the opening into the dining area to allow for an open-plan feel, space for a dividing counter and to let more light into the kitchen area. The kitchen was then refitted and redecorated from flooring to ceiling to give a fresh, modern look and feel to the space. The result was a larger (longer) kitchen area that effectively created a kitchen/diner arrangement, flowing into the light dining area beyond, and allowing for a view of the garden through the bi-fold doors.

The client was absolutely delighted with the result, which we have to say was a total transformation, achieved very affordably.
